To celebrate International Women’s Day and Seed Diversity, CHEP Good Food will be hosting TWO important events on Saturday March 10:
- Saskatoon’s 20th Annual Seedy Saturday! Featuring seed savers, farmers, presentations, live music, and children’s activities, this is sure to be a wonderful day centered around of food and seed sovereignty. Location: Station 20 West, 1120 20th St West, 10am to 3pm.
- Press for Progress: a celebration of women empowering their communities! To celebrate International Women’s Day, CHEP is partnering with the National Farmers’ Union to host a panel discussion and celebration of women’s role in food sovereignty, Indigenous rights, climate change response, and gender parity. Station 20 West, 5pm to 8:30pm. Food provided, $10 admission (cash only).
