Manny the Meadowlark at Meewasin invites you to sign up (see below) for an exciting project that he wants you to be part of. You can help gather information from Meewasin trail users for an ongoing study and trail master plan by performing a trail count, and survey.
We are recruiting volunteers to commit their time in order to conduct a survey. We will be counting trail users on the Meewasin Trail in 2 hour time slots at various locations throughout the valley.
Each station needs a volunteer, so grab a friend and help Meewasin out! There 20 different stations where you will collect this information for each time slot. If you are able to commit to more than one time slot that is absolutely fantastic!
Each sign up requires a training session.
Cookies and refreshments will be provided!
- Training Session #1– Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 12:00 pm in the Meewasin Valley Centre boardroom
- Training Session #2 – Sunday, May 14th, 2017 at 12:00 pm in the Meewasin Valley Centre boardroom
Expect to spend maximum 1 hour for training.
