September 2th Seed Saving Workshop and Movie in the Garden
Join Prairie Garden Seeds on Wed September 2nd for a Seed Saving Workshop and Work Bee hosted by the Saskatoon Seed Library, followed by an open-air screening of the film Open Sesame: A Film About Seeds, hosted by the Saskatoon Food Council as part of the Urban Agriculture Movie Screenings. Come for both events or just one. Both events are no-cost and family friendly!

The latest artistic addition to the Nutana community! Check out Laura Hosaluk’s wheat paste mural below the Broadway Bridge;
The City of Saskatoon (City) invites the public to view the new neighbourhood mural in Nutana, under the east end of the Broadway Bridge, and meet the artist who created it.
Entitled “Community Garden,” the artwork is a wheat paste mural created by local artist, Laura Hosaluk, in collaboration with Nutana residents, the Nutana Community Association, and the Broadway Business Improvement District. As described by the artist, the mural represents the vibrant growth that the Nutana neighbourhood inspires.

September 12th – Broadway Street Fair
The Broadway Business Improvement District (Broadway BID) is proud to present the 32nd Annual Broadway Street Fair, presented by SaskTel. Street Fair is always hosted the Saturday following the September long weekend; this year, Saturday, September 12th, 2015. This is Broadway’s largest one day event of the year, drawing thousands to the street. Check out the BBID website for more information.
